Day 1 – Exploring Waisai
The meeting point of the 3D2N Raja Ampat Pianemo Adventure is Sorong Airport. We recommend guests to reach Sorong early in the morning. Therefore, there are enough time to explore Waisai. Waisai is the district capital located in Waigeo Island. It shall take around 4 hours or more to reach Waisai from Sorong Airport by using speedboat. In Waisai (Wego Island), travelers could see Birds of Paradise which live in a hill. Waisai also has beautiful beaches among others Saleo Beach and WTC Beach. Travelers could spend the whole afternoon until nights in the quite yet beautiful Waisai.
Day 2 – Exploring Wayag
In the second day, the journey shall start in the morning at 7.00 AM to reach Wayag Island by using a boat. The island has beautiful beaches and unique karst hills. It needs around 2 hours to reach the highest platform. Don’t forget to bring your sport shoes or shoes that are suitable for hiking activities. And don’t bring to much stuffs with you since the climbing conditions that are pretty steep.
Once you reach its hilltop, you shall amaze with its beautiful panorama. Travelers could see the complete panorama of Raja Ampat from the top of Wayag’s Hill. Travelers could enjoy beautiful beaches with white sand and clear water like crystal, and coves and atolls which are surrounding the island. No need of advance technique to gain beautiful pictures since the nature has provide it. Then, the group shall enjoy lunch while watching sharks.
The journey then continue to visit Friwen Beach where you could enjoy swimming in the clear water, swinging on the giant tree branches and playing canoeing. In the afternoon, the group come back to Waisai to enjoy dinner and take a rest.
Day 3 – Say Good Bye to Raja Ampat
After finishing breakfast and check-out from the homestay/hotel, the local guide shall deliver the group to Waisai Harbor.
09.00 AM – 01. 00 PM: Arrive at Sorong Airport, immediately heading to the harbor to cross to Waisai by using a boat.
01.00 PM – 02.00 PM: check in and lunch time.
02.00 PM – 06.00 PM: Explore Waisai.
06.00 PM – 07.00 PM: Dinner.
07.00 AM – 10.00 AM: Start the journey to Wayag.
10.00 AM – 10.30 AM: Stop by at Sarpele to buy ticket to enter Wayag.
10.30 AM – 11.00 AM: Stop by at a post for ticket check and meet the Wayag Hiking guide.
11.00 AM – 01.30 PM: Enjoy Wayag.
01.30 PM – 02.00 PM: Stop by at the post (CIA) and enjoy lunch (watching sharks).
02.00 PM – 05.00 PM: Continue to Friwen for swimming/canoeing.
05.00 PM – 06.00 PM: Back to Waisai.
06.00 PM – 07. 00 PM: dinner and spend night at the homestay.
07.00 AM: Breakfast.
08.00 AM: Check out and the guide shall deliver to Waisai Harbor.
